Kleanny is a cache cleaning application, it removes unnecessary files and your hard disk is free of waste.


How to install?

Kleanny is available for SliTaz 5. To install use the package manager of SliTaz, the Tazpkg via terminal # tazpkg -gi kleanny or Tazpanel:82.

The source code is available in the repository. You can also download the package directly on Kleanny cook page.


How can I have the latest version?

Run weekly to recharge the list of packages: # tazpkg recharge and check for any updates available for the system with: # tazpkg up.


How to use?

Open Kleanny, wait for the splash screen. After opening, Kleanny is ready and you will be able to view the status of the recognized software caches.

To delete the all files of the cache click on Cleanup! button. When you click the button you will see Kleanny's cleaning and animation action. The final result will show the lightweight cache and the button to exit the application. The cache will be smaller and HD is more light.


Unable to load page

Could not connect: Connection refused.

Open terminal login as root and:

# /etc/init.d/httpd start

Close Kleanny ESC and open again. Or use Try again button.

!! Kleanny works with Busybox httpd active.


What will be affected?

Only files that are not needed on your system. Only shell history and software caches files.

In the release version 1.0.1, Kleanny recognizes the caches:

Version 1.0.1 works fine, but needs tweaking.
